Through Fellowship

MEET 'N EAT
The ladies' Meet-n-Eat for April will be on Friday, April 4th at noon in the church lounge. Please join us and bring a favorite dish to share.

MEN'S BREAKFAST AND BIBLE STUDY
Our delicious breakfasts may not always be "heart healthy", but our Bible Studies certainly are! Join us Saturday, April 5 & 19 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.

BLC QUILTERS
BLC Quilting Friends will be meeting Wednesday, April 16 from 9:30 a.m to 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We'll be putting together those cute chicky blocks into a baby quilt. We have a number of quilts to tie and we will continue making 9-patch tops. Bring your favorite scissors and needle (crewel or darner for tying). We will also be working on our newest project, which are cot size quilts for our soldiers being deployed.

Hope you stopped by our table on Mission Sunday and learned a bit about us. Thank you to Laurie DeFoe for being our spokesperson. Thank you to Marilyn Praga for helping set up the display. Also, we welcome our newest member, Robin Storey. Any questions may be directed to MaryLou Wahl (767-2396), Barb Mabee (767-9441) or Nancy Johnson (475-1262)

RETIRED FELLOWSHIP
Our meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 7, at 12:00 noon in the Fellowship Hall at church. Bring your lunch. There will be beverages. We will have a guest speaker, Mr. William Behrens, Director of Traffic Services for the New York State Thruway Authority. Some of you may recall the presentation he did several years ago on Woodstock. His topic will be different this time and, hopefully, just as enjoyable. Everyone is welcome. We hope you can join us.

We will have our meeting on Monday, May 5, at 12:00 Noon in the Fellowship Hall at church. Bring lunch, and we will have beverages. A program is being planned. Everyone is welcome.

THE IMPORTANCE OF FELLOWSHIP

I think sometimes we forget that sharing time in Fellowship - just relaxing and being with friends that share our same beliefs - is a vital part of our walk as a Christian. It is enriching and uplifting to share these special times together - to laugh together, to play together, and of course, to share a meal together. Please plan to attend one of our upcoming Fellowship Events.

APRIL EVENTS

LET SOMEONE ELSE DO THE COOKING!
Lenten services and dinners continue on Wednesday nights through April 9th. Come early, take a night off from the regular routine, relax with friends and be our guest for dinner!!! Share good Christian Fellowship for dinner at 6:15 and then stay to prepare for the death and resurrection of our Blessed Savior at the service which is at 7:30.
*JOIN US FOR EASTER FELLOWSHIP immediately following the 10:30 service on Easter Sunday morning. Bring a favorite finger food to share and stay and share fellowship. Hope to see you there.

MAY EVENTS

*THE PROGRESSIVE DINNER!!!!
Mark you calendar for May 17 at 5:00 p.m. and plan to join us for a lovely evening of fabulous food and great fellowship. If you have been to this dinner in the past, then you know what a special evening it is. If you haven't been to this event yet, maybe it's time to treat yourself. We will start and end at the church. There will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex coming soon with all of the details! Hope to see you there.

JANUARY & FEBRUARY EVENTS RECAP
In January, we had a fun-filled Pot Luck Supper and doubled it with a Getting to Know You Event where we got to know not only our newest members, but a lot about each other!!! The food was fabulous and the fellowship was so much fun. Ahhh, the things we didn't know about each other…. If you missed this event, keep your eyes open and try to make it to the next Fellowship event - we really do have a lot of fun!!!

February's event was a trip to Capital Repertory Theater to see "Beguiled Again" and then off to Mercato's for dinner. The play was fabulous with music that had our toes tapping and our fingers snapping. After that, dinner and fellowship rounded out the night and left everyone with a smile!
