WEDNESDAY LENTEN WORSHIP Lenten dinners and worship services will continue until Wednesday, April 9. Lenten meals begin at 6:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall and the worship service begins at 7:30 p.m. Please join us as we are fed in body and spirit this Lenten season. PALM SUNDAY On Palm Sunday there will be Holy Communion at both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services as we follow Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem. HOLY WEEK EVENTS April 17: Maundy Thursday - Holy Communion Service (7:30 p.m.) April 18: Good Friday - Sanctuary will be open for prayer and meditation (9:00 a.m.) April 18: Good Friday Tenebrae Service (7:30 p.m.) April 20: EASTER Easter Festival Service (8:00 a.m.) Easter Festival Service (10:30a.m.) Easter Fellowship Brunch following 10:30 a.m. service. SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES Please join one of the following adult Bible Studies being held Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. Pastor Winterhoff will be conducting a Bible study on the history of Christianity in the first three centuries. Using video and other resources, Paul L. Maier's series of lessons will lead you through a journey of how God guided and expanded His Church in those days. Pastor Mueller will be leading a Bible study on the Christian's view of terrorism and war. We will explore issues including our Christian calling in a time of war, the biblical basis for the historic Christian teaching about a just war, a Christian's conscientious objection to war, and God's control and care of His creation. Linda Winterhoff continues to lead a Bible Study entitled, "Home Improvement". The lessons will range from the power of a spouse's love to preparing to let children go - plus a surprising look at "the family secret". Let this study be fresh mortar around the stones of your own family's foundation, giving it strength now and for the future.
