“FEED MY LAMBS”
(JOHN 21:15)

In the days after Easter, Jesus asked Peter, “Do you love me?” He then gave Peter a new task – “Feed my lambs!”

During the next two months, we are going to be celebrating Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Your children have been entrusted to you by God. Remember at their baptism the words, “one day you must give an account for how you provided for your child’s spiritual growth and welfare…”

As Christian parents (yes mothers AND fathers), Jesus expects us, above all else, to be telling our children about Him. There is lots going on in our lives…work schedules, music lessons, sports leagues and, yes, even church activities. However, in the midst of all of this, nothing should take a higher priority than “feeding Christ’s lambs”.

Moms and Dads, the greatest gift you can give your children is the gift of knowing Christ. Worship together as a family, pray together as a family. Feed His lambs!
