“We give Thee but Thine own,
Whate’er the gift may be;
All that we have is Thine alone,
A trust, O Lord, from Thee.”

This opening verse of hymn #441 in our hymnal reminds us that nothing truly belongs to us…everything actually belongs to God!

The implications of this truth should touch the heart of every one of us. We are managers of the time, talents and treasures that God entrusted to us. Secondly, each and every day is an opportunity for us to use those “trusts” as an opportunity to serve God and our fellow man. During the month of November, you will hear those truths expounded upon by both myself and Pastor Mueller.

It is my prayer for our congregation that all of us will be faithful managers (stewards) of the gifts that God has entrusted to us. For when we do so, the ministry of Christ will go forward here at Bethlehem!
